Year two of the Center for Social Vision is about to begin!

The Centre for Social Vision is a long-term initiative for the exchange of experience, action and independent policies in the field of art. Our work is focused on recognizing and improving the material and social infrastructure that surrounds us, that we share and build together.

We have now moved into the second year of this platform through conversations and meetings, outlining the field and focus of our work in 2023. Stay tuned for more information soon on topics and participants, as well as opportunities to get involved.

In its first year (21/22), the Center brought together curators, artists, architects, theorists, writers, and designers to reflect on the possibilities of art and related fields and to participate in the creation of relationships and social infrastructure. Through the public program “Negotiation”, we opened the conversation to a wide range of colleagues and explored new approaches to the topics of the public realm, institutionality, cultural heritage, and the environment.

The Center for Social Vision was initiated by Viktoria Draganova in 2021 as a spin-off of Swimming Pool, Sofia.
