cultural aperitivo with lungomare / conversation and presentation of upcoming open call

april 5th, 18:00–20:00

We are delighted to welcome Lungomare at Swimming Pool!

Join us for a conversation with Angelika Burstcher and Daniele Lupo, artistic directors of Lungomare (Bozen, Italy) to talk about situated creative practices for the pluriverse. We will also present the upcoming open call that Bulgarian-based artists are welcome to apply for.

Lungomare is a platform for design and cultural production that carries out commissions and initiates artistic projects. It creates meeting places and experiential spaces in the city, inviting artists to develop thematic and site-specific projects with a focus on socio-political issues.

Situated Creative Practices for the Pluriverse is a Creative Europe Cooperation project on socio‑ecological challenges through cross‑disciplinary research and artistic interventions inspired by the Zapatista idea of a pluriverse—a world where many worlds fit. The project emphasizes buen vivir, communal interdependence, and the links between human and non‑human entities. It includes four one‑year residencies (SIT‑RES) in Spain (ZEMOS98 and Idensitat), Italy (Lungomare), and the Netherlands (Baltan Laboratories), where the open call selectees can develop new creative interventions.
